Barlow Rd. Bike n Hike parking lot
Everyone,
Now that Think Spring is behind us, the Wednesday Afternoon Ride, April 17th we will be riding to downtown Kent with a rest stop at a local venue. The route will be a combination of public roads and the Stow Bike-n-Hike with flat to rolling hills. This will be a loop route with a total distance of 27 miles. We’ll be leaving the Barlow Rd. Bike-n-Hike parking lot at 1:00 pm. This year we will have two groups if necessary. The faster group will ride at a pace of 15 - 16 mph. The slower group will ride at a pace of 12 to 13 mph. There will be someone leading the slower group and if possible, someone will lead the faster group. We will regroup as needed. Like all ABC rides, this ride is for current members and first-time guest.
As always, helmets are required on all ABC rides. Also, no ear buds and no use of cell phones for talk, text, or music while riding. It is also advised during daylight hours to use a good tail light and headlight when riding on public roads. Please obey all traffic laws…safety is everyone’s responsibility. Also, make sure that your bike is properly maintained and is in good working condition.
Thanks, Phil
